Michael, I have to say thanks to you for this book, but I have to be honest with you, it was not the product that I thought I was buying. Yes, I bought the wrong thing!

However, not wanting the hassle of getting my $20 refunded, I sat and read your book last night and I couldn't believe some of it - I am, by nature, a very cynical character.

This morning, my younger brother visited me ... Without going into too much detail, our sister died 18 months ago and my brother had been seeing a therapist to explain why he has no feelings with regard to her passing. While he fixed my computer, I put together an induction built around the ERICKSONIAN and ELMAN techniques you teach.

I got him to relax - NOT FOR ONE SECOND BELIEVING THAT I WOULD BE SUCCESSFUL - and he entered trance and had an abreaction [a therapeutic and often abrupt release of pent-up emotion, ed.]

What can i say... I am staggered and so is my brother. Michael, not only do I thank you but you also have the appreciation of my brother. This has been $20 well spent! I am now considering a career in therapeutic Hypnosis. I owe you one, Michael. Many, many thanks!

Followup - Later That Day...

Since helping my brother this morning, I have been playing about and refining what I had used. I cannot believe some of the things I have done with a couple of friends less than half an hour ago.

Hypnosis is something I never truly believed in (I've seen too many movies, I guess) and never in a million years did I think that I would eventually try it. WHY should I? I always believed it to be a hoax or a scam.

I am one of life's cynics, but I admit it here and now, I WAS WRONG! Thanks for a great book, Michael!     -William
